Agenda Item | HEARING – Planning and Building Department, Planning Services Division staff recommending the Board of Supervisors (Board): 1) Approve the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Addendum to the Targeted General Plan Amendment/Zoning Ordinance Update (TGPA/ZOU) Environmental Impact Report (EIR) consistent with Sections 15162 and 15164 of the CEQA Guidelines (Legistar File 20-1037, Attachment B); 2) Consider recommended additional modifications to Title 130 (Zoning) and Title 120 (Subdivisions) of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code from the Planning Commission made during the Planning Commission hearing on July 9, 2020; 3) Adopt an Ordinance for Title 130 (Zoning) Amendments of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code, incorporating additional modifications proposed by the Planning Commission and recommended by the Board (Legistar File 20-1037, Attachment C); and 4) Adopt an Ordinance for Title 120 (Subdivisions) Amendments of the El Dorado County Ordinance Code, incorporating additional modifications proposed by the Planning Commission and recommended by the Board
A motion was made by Supervisor Parlin, seconded by Supervisor Hidahl to Approve this matter and Adopt Ordinance 5128 for Title 120 and Ordinance 5127 for Title 130 with the following changes to Ordinance 5127: 1) The size of the sign shall be a minimum of 32 square fee (4 feet high by 8 feet wide); and 2) The sign text shall be large, black letters on a white background. The font size shall be proportional to the sign for optimum readability. The sign content shall specify project type (e.g. Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Mixed Use) and shall include the following minimum information: project type, project name, number of units or building square footage, project number.
