This project is being proposed to change the General Plan and Zoning to allow the highest intensity densities in an area of where the existing land uses are mostly 5 -10 acre ranches. The smallest existing lots being to the west of the proposed Generation High Density Subdivision known as Highland View are 1/2 to 1 acre lots. The Developer of Generations is proposing access to Highland View with an Emergency Vehicle Access, EVA. Fire requirements require 3 accesses triangulated at equal distances around the perimeter. This would require the EVA at Lima Way at the top of Aberdeen Lane into Highland View and onto Stirlingshire and Highland Hills to be a full time non-restricted access.

This project proposes nearly 400 homes on 6,000- 10,000 Square foot lots.  

This project will effect all of El Dorado Hills and Cameron Park. Previously these parcels were proposed for the denied Dixon Ranch Project that was denied back in 2017.
