| 23-1586 | 1 | 19. | Agenda Item | Planning and Building Department, Planning Division, Long Range Planning Unit, recommending the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign Amendment III to Agreement 4511 with PlaceWorks, Inc. for assistance in the development of the County’s Housing Element Update Project and Permit Ready Accessory Dwelling Unit Plan Program, increasing the compensation amount by $25,407 for a not-to-exceed amount of $246,078 and augmenting the Scope of Work, with no changes to the term of the Agreement. A motion was made by Supervisor Parlin, seconded by Supervisor Laine to Approve this matter and Adopt Ordinance 5185 and Resolution 164-2023 with the following changes: 1) In the Fee Schedule Ordinance 5185, remove the term “during business hours” and leave it solely as the hourly rate for the following divisions Long Range Planning, Storm Water Quality, Vacation Home Rentals, Airports and Cemeteries; and 2) In the Code Enforcement Appeals Section under Vacation Home Rental Appeals/Hearings include Ordinance 9.02.380 and 5.56.150 to read as follows: “See Ordinances 9.02.380, 5.56.140, and 5.56.150”.
