  • Nothing New on Costco/EDH 52 Mixed Use (AKT-Tsakopolous development) project- Planning Departments Fact Sheet/Frequently asked questions is being updated
  • Nothing New on Town and Country Village Development. Full Draft Environmental Impact Review (DEIR) has been started
  • AKT Community for Health and Independence. Pre-plan documents submitted for an EDC J-6 review (scheduled for April 23rd @ 1 PM) of their 1400-acre proposed project in conjunction with UC Davis. The proposed project is 2800 total acres, with1400 acres in Sacramento County. The project work is anticipated to start in EDC
  • Generations at Green Valley Road Notice of Preparation (NOP) review/comment period for the draft EIR ended on 3/26/24. Preparation of the draft EIR is expected to take about 6 months.
  • Carson Creek R&D development project, aka ‘Gateway project’ in the EDH Business Park (District 2) fact sheet has been released by Planning. Two buildings are under construction and were determined to be ‘by right’ ministerial projects, as all other warehouse type uses within the R&D Business Park have been for well over 30 years. Leadership Team Progress Reports

  • Safe and Healthy Communities – Sheriff’s report, CHP report, EDH Fire report and Healthy Communities report
  • Thriving Economy- Restructuring of the Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee and draft Bylaws were reviewed by the BOS at the 3/19/24 meeting. Minor edits to the bylaws and County Counsel review were directed with the item returning to the BOS for final review/approval within about 30 days. The new District 1 appointee to CEDAC is scheduled for review/approval by the BOS on April 2nd.
  • Public Infrastructure- Plans for the new County Homeless Navigation Center on the County campus in Placerville are undergoing revision
  • Workforce Excellence- Nothing new to report
  • Strategic Innovation- Nothing new to report
