El Dorado County Board of Supervisors July 13, 2021 Meeting Minutes

Of note to El Dorado Hills residents:

21-1016AGENDA #12 Department of Transportation recommending the Board consider the following: 1) Accept the road improvements for the Bass Lake Road Reconstruction & Country Club Drive Extension Project, Agreement 19-54906, CIP 71360, as complete; 2) Reduce Performance Bond 9327157 from $7,968,982.63 to $796,898.26, which is ten percent of the total cost of the road improvements, an amount which guarantees against any defective work, labor done, or defective materials furnished, and is to be released after one year if no claims are made

FUNDING: Road Fund (1%), Developer Advance TIF Zone B (59%), Developer Advance TIF Zone C (40%).

21-1077AGENDA #13 approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Household Hazardous Waste Facility Agreement with the El Dorado Hills County Water District. FUNDING: Community Service Area 10 Household Hazardous Waste.

21-1042AGENDA #20 Adopt and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution of Intention 082-2021 to Amend Title 130 of the County Zoning Ordinance and initiate the Zoning Ordinance Update project.

A motion was made by Supervisor Thomas, seconded by Supervisor Parlin to Adopt Resolution 082-2021.

A motion was made by Supervisor Novasel, seconded by Supervisor Turnboo to appoint Supervisors Thomas and Hidahl to an Ad Hoc Committee to participate in discussions with El Dorado Community Foundation, local stakeholders with the mobile home park working group and staff regarding mobile home park issues and concerns.

21-0775AGENDA #24 HEARING – Department of Transportation recommending the Board adopt and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 079-2021 for the 2021 Traffic Impact Fee (TIF) Schedule Annual Update

Supervisor Hidahl opened the public hearing and upon hearing from staff and the public closed the hearing.

A motion was made by Supervisor Hidahl, seconded by Supervisor Parlin to Adopt Resolution 079-2021, with the exception of including the raised median back into the Green Valley Road widening project (CIP P178/36105018). Staff will adjust the cost of the project, update Resolution 079-2021 and return the Resolution for the Chair’s signature.
